We are delighted to share that on Wednesday 12 March ContainerCo was judged Winner of the Excellence in Supply Chain and Logistics Award at the Tauranga Business Awards 2026.
This award was one of only 12 gongs presented on the night, placing ContainerCo in very esteemed company. It was lovely to see some of our Tauranga team up on stage on behalf of the wider crew, to accept the award.
A lot of people chipped in to our entry & presentation, but in particular there was a huge effort from Rob Rompey to prepare our response to being nominated and impress the judges sufficiently enough to be shortlisted. CEO Wayne Johnson & Rob then fronted a 2-hour long interview about ContainerCo, what we do, and how we do it.
While it’s a Tauranga Business Chamber Award, it’s acknowledgement for our entire business and the part we play in keeping NZ’s import & export supply chain humming! Everybody can be very proud of themselves and of each other who make up this awesome team we have throughout every single part of the ContainerCo business.
