ContainerCo’s OCR Gate Technology programme continues to gather momentum, with the next phase of our pilot now underway at our Woolston Depot in Christchurch.
Building on the success of earlier trials, OCR v2.0 introduces advanced 4K line-scan camera technology capable of capturing exceptional levels of detail on containers entering and exiting our depots. The enhanced system can now inspect both sides and the roof of a container, providing richer condition data while reducing the need for our team to undertake survey work at height.
It’s another example of how we’re investing in innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency, strengthen safety outcomes and support smarter decision-making across our network.
