ContainerCool is excited to announce the arrival of Reefer Buddy, a new web-based App to be used at all ContainerCo depots and service sites across New Zealand.
Reefer Buddy was borne from the need to replace manual systems with automation and to speed up the cycle of repair and maintenance of refrigerated containers that ContainerCo manages on behalf of its customers.
Ultimately, ContainerCo’s depot teams wanted to provide faster data to its customers for their approval as soon as the assessment and estimation of repair was completed by its ContainerCool reefer technicians.
Prior to the introduction of Reefer Buddy, processes were very manual, relying heavily on paper and human input, and inevitably delays could occur.
Now, all the common tasks for maintenance are now assessed on a device in real-time by ContainerCool’s reefer technicians and as soon as they process the assessments, an estimation is sent to the customer for their approval.
